History of Hat Club

Hat Club is a membership store which was first opened in the year 1992 in Meza, Arizona Shopping Mall. Its first investor was the NBA star and veteran, Danny Ainge. Hat Club stores offer mix of branded and licensed hats that cater the needs of sports fans and other people of all ages and lifestyle.   What the company got are all extraordinary assortment of market tailored and custom designed hats sets the Hat Club apart from all other stores- variety of MLB, NCAA, NFL, NHL, NBA, fitted and adjustable style hats boasts brand names such as New Era, Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Under Armour, and as well as the Action Sports market with DC Shoes, Fox Racing, Hurley, Famous Stars and Straps, Quiksilver, Etnies and Ogio, to name a few.

Ainge has since sold his ownership in Hat Club and today the company is now owned and operated by the Stachels. Hat Club has since become one of the largest independent all-hat store companies in the U.S., with stores in different states and all over the world which can be accessed through HatClub.com.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Assistant Manager: Assistant Store Managers create must see to it that the store has an environment that is accommodating and must ensure that he leads all the people working in the company. Like all other assistant managers, he acts as manager in the absence of the manager. His responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following: drive sales and achieve personal and store goals; assist in managing all aspects of a product driven retail operation to provide exceptional customer service; assist in the training and development of great teams using frequent and honest communication; discuss business related issues with Store Manager.

Sales Associate:   The Sales Associate makes sure that the store has friendly has friendly environment for people to feel an accommodating environment. The responsibilities of the person in this position include: drive sales and achieve personal and store goals; serve as an expert on product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service; assist in merchandising, display maintenance.

Cashier: The cashier receives the payment of the customers; the payments may be in a form of cash or in card. He/She must have knowledge in getting the prices of the different products offered for sale in the store. He/She must also maintain excellent customer relationships.
