The Universal Studio was founded in 1912, it is the oldest movie studio in the US. Universal Studios Hollywood, The Entertainment Capital of L.A., includes a full-day, movie-based theme park and Studio Tour, the entertainment, shopping and dining complex, the Universal CityWalk Cinemas and the Gibson Amphitheatre concert and special event venue.

The theme park features — The Ride, Shrek 4-D, Revenge of the MummySM, Jurassic Park ® — The Ride and the world-renowned Studio Tour.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Accounts Receivable Coordinator: Prepare monthly billing and journal entries. Facilitate collection of open invoices (calls and emails). Process cash receipts and adjustments. Prepare monthly account reconciliations Key liaison between finance and sales team. Maintain Sales Databases and systems. Meet weekly and monthly close deadlines. Ad Hoc analyses.

Talent Assistant: The Talent assistant will support the VP and executive director of casting and talent development, as well as the coordinator of talent by answering phones, submitting expense reports, tracking down representative contact information, updating and maintaining grids and databases, booking travel and maintaining calendars. Talent assistant will also send out dubs and thank you notes, as well as compiling and editing holiday gift lists and mailing and messenger gifts.

Story Coordinator: Research news segments mainly for enterprise packages: find articles, facts, uncover potential interviews. Assist Supervising Producers in finding and developing story ideas. Assist producers with script preparation i.e. fact-checking. Log tapes. Research and organize long term projects. Find relevant SOTS for segments in the tape library. Conduct pre-interviews with potential experts and book interview subjects (light booking). Watch show clips and alert supervising producers if they are newsworthy.

Scheduling Coordinator:  Schedule a daily log for both promo spots and on air effects for E! based on the weekly media plan. Work with Network Operations on all related promo scheduling issues. Work with Traffic Department to ensure accuracy of promo logs and program formats. Organize and maintain all promo scheduling needs, both for daily and long range airing. Work with Network Operations and On Air Design to order lower third effects and show bugs. Create and verify completion of daily log changes with Network Operations. Respond with urgency to after-hours calls from Network Operations. Work with On Air Promo production to track and ensure spot delivery is met with regards to air dates and spot lengths. Manage the order, tracking and delivery of promo spots for various non-linear and off air outlets. Assist with department operations and efficiencies.

Project Coordinator: Reporting to the Vice President Digital Operations at E! Entertainment, a division of NBCUniversal, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the department in developing new products, enhancements to existing product portfolio for E! and G4. The digital operations group is tasked with driving new product and brand initiatives including building a wide range of products and services, extending existing capabilities in emerging platforms, including but not limited to: E! Online, broadband partners, wireless phone carriers, cable video-on-demand partners, download-to-own partners, authenticated streaming partners and others.

Programming Coordinator: This position manages and traffics E!, Style, G4 content to Video On Demand, authenticated streaming and download to own partners, plus handles additional responsibilities for short form new media content.

Executive Assistant: Organize, facilitate, and prioritize communication within Style’s Marketing & Digital/New Media department, between the Senior Vice President, Vice President, and their direct reports. Act as a personal manager in order to anticipate and address the needs of the Senior Vice President & Vice President. Interact with other support staff members in a professional manner. Complete time cards and invoices for freelancers. Maintain current department contact list and employee phone list. Order and maintain current magazine subscriptions and annual memberships in organizations. Assist in sending/receiving materials to/from outside vendors, etc. Notify new freelancers of Employee Orientation and arrange for temporary IDs. Special projects and research assigned by supervisors on an as-needed basis. The salary is $11 to $12.
