History of Sweetbay

The establishment of Sweetbay can be traced back to the year 2004 in January. Kash n’ Karry have undergone several successful growth of their business for the past few years. At that year, they have decided to announce the creation of a new concept which they called Sweetbay Supermarket. On the year 2007, Kash n’ Karry stores were renamed as Sweetbay Supermarkets. On the year 2004, the very first Sweetbay Supermarkets were first made and established in Seminhole, Florida and in Fort Myers Like any other supermarkets; they were giving free samples of their products.

Job Descriptions and Wage Averages

Cashier: As a cashier, you are paid in an hourly basis. Your primary duty is to receive cash over the counter every time the customer approaches to pay for his item, count the cash, give them the necessary and proper amount of change and provide receipts. Also, it is part of your job to make the customer feel like they are at home and comfortable. Make them feel that they are welcome every time they come inside the store. This way, they can come back anytime. The average wage you can get as a cashier would range from $7 – $9 per hour.

Stock Clerk: As a stock clerk, you are in charge of managing the items inside the stockroom. You are to make sure that each and every item inside the stockroom is placed in their proper and respective spot, or else, the arrangement would go disarrayed. It is also your job to check if whether the items contain damages so that you can report it to your supervisors or any higher ups. You are paid in an hourly basis with an average wage that ranges from $8 – $9 per hour.

Baker: As a baker, you will be spending most of your time inside a bakery shaping and mixing different ingredients with your own bare hands. You are going to bake different things for the public’s satisfaction. It is your job to make them tasty enough that each customer would be coming back for it and buy more. You will be paid with an average wage that will range from $13 – $14 per hour.

Assistant Bookkeeper: As an assistant bookkeeper, you will be spending most of your time handling books and arranging them in a properly mannered way. You are paid an hourly basis in which you will receive an average wage of $19,000 – $21,000 every year.

Assistant Pharmacy Manager: You are expected to supervise training and fill out prescriptions for the customers. You will be paid with an average wage ranging from $90,000 – $98,000 every year.
