Steak n Shake Job Application

History of Steak n Shake

Steak ‘n Shake is a 500 unit diner style restaurant chain situated mainly in the Midwestern and Southern United States. Their headquarters shifted to San Antonio, Texas, in 2010, though a subsidiary company that runs the daily functions of the restaurants stays at the former headquarters location in Indianapolis, Indiana. Over 400 Steak ‘n Shakes are company owned and the remaining few are licensed. Usual restaurant places have both a drive-thru and front-window service, outcompeting in an unusual mix of fast-food to-go service and diner-style sit-down service. Most Steak ‘n Shake restaurants are open 24 hours a day.

Steak n Shake slogan Famous for Steakburgers refers to their mark menu item, the Steakburger, so called because it is prepared from a fusion of T-bone, sirloin, and round steak. Steak ‘n Shake’s prices had been analogous to diners and other sit-down food institutions, which were usually elevated than fast food restaurants. But just it has lowered its costs so that it now presents fast food pricing while sustaining the higher food excellence which its shoppers anticipate.
