Souplantation Manager Salary

Souplantation is a chain of buffet style restaurants in the United States. The first store opened in San Diego, California and has since expanded to 110 stores as of 2008. The company was conceptualized by Dennis Jay. Since then the company has expanded its arms in the west and southwest.

Souplantation managers have a long list of task that revolves around both the kitchen and the dining area. The manager lends a hand in the kitchen if there are too many orders that need to be served. The manager should check if there are any pending orders that need to be taken out.

The manager also provides human resource assistance in recruiting the people for the job. The manager conducts final interviews and decides who will get the post. Upon hiring, the manager must provide orientation and training for the employee. They also have to delegate a tenured worker to act as a trainer for the new hire employee.

Manager

  • Salary: Depending on the experience, managers are able to get anywhere from $35,000 to $40,000.
  • Bonuses: There are no options to receive cash bonuses if the employee gets this type of position.
  • Profit Sharing: The company does not offer shared profits with its employees.
  • Stock Options: Stock options are not considered for employees holding this position.

Assistant Manager

  • Salary: Assistant managers get $25,000 to $30,000; previous experience plays a big factor how much they get.
  • Bonuses: Cash bonuses are not provided by the company for assistant managers.
  • Profit Sharing: This position is not entitled to have profit sharing as well.
  • Stock Options: Also like profit sharing, the company does not provide stock options.
