Shoney’s is a popular restaurant food chain that is located primarily in the southern United States.   It once was adjoined with the Big Boy chain.   While most Shoney’s are franchised owned, you find that the headquarters are located in Nashville, Tennessee.   While they used to operate more than 1,000 chains, they number has dwindled a little bit.

Job Descriptions / Average Wage

Waitress / Waiter / Host: You will usually do both jobs, where you will help seat guests, refill drinks, as well as order their food.   You will ensure that the customer is happy with their experience, and you will help them with whatever issues that they need.   The average wage is anywhere from $2 to $5 a hour, plus tips.

Cook: You will be in charge of cooking food in the back.   You will process orders, as well as re-cook orders that come back to the kitchen if it isn’t cooked properly.   You will prep the kitchen, as well as clean in your downtime.   The average wage is $7 to $10 a hour.
