In 1965 at Washington, D.C. Beltway, Sheehy Ford began as a small, suburban, family-owned car dealership. The success bought the store in 1975 to be the largest Ford dealership in the country.

Prsently, the Sheehy Auto Stores has grown to more than $900 Million in Sales with 30,000 vehicle sales per year with 17 locations in the Mid-Atlantic region with 19 franchises. The company is the largest retailer of Fords in the region and has the largest selection of new Fords. Also, it is the largest Nissan dealers in the Mid-Atlantic with 7 locations. Our other franchises are Honda, Lincoln, Subaru, Lexus, Infiniti, Mazda and Hyundai.

Job Description/Wage Ranges

Sales Person: This person is responsible in consulting customers and guiding them through the sales process. He/She needs to follow up with sold/unsold vehicles; maintain a CSI average above group average. He/She must also do duties like consulting customers and helping them narrow their choice in vehicles; following the 10+1 step selling system to help the customers through the sales process; contacting with new customers who have not purchased yet; keeping vehicles clean and maintain proper displays. The expected annual salary is $34K to $77K.

General Manager: The manager will do tasks like selling financing and credit life, accident, and health insurance to customers; converting cash deals to finance; establishing and maintaining good working relationships with several finance sources, including the manufacturer; processing finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval; processing all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transaction; understanding and complying with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new- and used-vehicle and finance departments; checking all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting; acquiring current state insurance license, completing continuing credit insurance education as needed; providing customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.

Service Advisor: This position is responsible in interacting with the customers and to facilitate repairs. Specifically, he process 100% of customer concerns, write repair orders, dispatch work to technicians, close repair orders, contact customer when work is complete.
