History of Red Rooster

In the year 1972, Kailis family opens the first Red Rooster store. Later in 1981, Coles Myer purchases Red Rooster. The stores were converted up to a total number of 230 Australia-wide in the year 1992. Red Rooster is acquired by Australian Fast Foods Ptv. Ltd.(AFF) in 2002. As part of a management buy out (sponsored by Quadrant Private Equity), Quick Service Restaraunt Holdings (QSRH) acquires AFF, including Red Rooster, way back in 2007. In 2010, Red Rooster adds Free Range burgers, baguettes and wraps to its permanent menu. Today,   Red Rooster operates stores over 360 across Australia and employs over 7,500 staff. Despite plenty has changed over the years, Red Rooster is still the takeaway you don’t have to think twice.

Job Description/ Wage Averages

Program Manager / Project Manager: The project manager   handles several projects at once and have the ability to handle the people and their output. This person   picks the people on each project, plan all the financial aspects, and acts as the liaison between the workers and the managers if needed. This position also supervises and writes up evaluations for each of the people on his project once it was successfully completed. This position gains an annual salary of   $57k to $61k.

Demonstration Representative:   This position is representing the company to the buying public. The sales/demonstration representative will be the first impression of the company to the   prospective customers   and so a good impression must be left on them in order to retain their patronage. The person has superior knowledge of the company’s products and services and be able to point the consumer to the proper department.   In this position, one will obtain a salary of $14 to $15 per hour.

Restaurant Crew: This position is responsible in preparing food and beverages, serve customers and maintain the restaurant interior and exterior look. This persons must be organized and on task throughout the shifts. This position does not require specialized education other than food service training. More likely, restaurant crew positions earn tips.

Assistant Manager: This position have a lot of responsibility,   this job requires great leadership skills. Whether you’re managing a team in retail or dishing out orders to servers in a restaurant, this person must be attentive in keeping business flow in good condition. In the absence of the manager, this person is required to the task for him.
