History of Qdoba

Founded back in 1995, you can find around 450 Qdoba Mexican Grills located across the United States.   In 2003, the San Diego chain, Jack in the Box acquired the company via a private investment firm.   With it’s first restaurant being opened back in Colorado, you can find their main headquarters in the same state in the city of Wheat Ridge.


Hours of Operation:   open every day: 10:30am-10:00pm

Minimum Age to Work Here:   16 years old

Positions Available:   Team Member, Crew Member, Crew Leader, Delivery Driver, Line Server, Cook, Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Restaurant Manager, General Manager, Regional Manager

Negotiation:   Set hourly rate.   There is no room for negotiation.


Job Description / Average Wage

Line Server: You’re going to help work the line, when people come into order food.   When supplies / ingredients are running low, you’re going to restock the food, as well as make sure as the front is running at 100%.   You will assist the customer, and handle their food to perfection.   The average wage is anywhere from $7 to $10 a hour.

Cook: You will work in the back, doing everything from prepping the kitchen, to closing the kitchen down.   You will clean it, as well as make sure that everything is running smoothly.   You will help the line cooks when they need bins of food replaced, etc.   In your downtime, you may be asked to help clean the lobby and other parts of the restaurant.   The average wage is $9 to $13 a hour.

Assistant Manager / Supervisor: You will find that you will have to watch over the entire staff, while working.   You can assist up to 5+ employees at once.   You will open up the store, close it, as well assist the employees with any jobs that need to be done.   You will also help the customers with any problems that may arise.   The average wage is $12+ a hour.

General Manager:   Running the entire restaurant, you’re going to make sure that the entire restaurant is running according to plan.   You’re going to help assist with hiring employees, assigning tasks as well as making sure that the customers are happy with their purchase.   If there are any questions or concerns, you’ll do your best in order to resolve them.   The average wage for a general manager is anywhere from $36,000 to $55,000 a year.
