History of Noah’s Bagel

Noah’s Bagel started in the year 1989 at Barkeley. From then, it has grown into 80 locations. Noah’s is a neighborhood based deli inspired restaurant that serves great choices of sandwiches, freshly baked breads, home-style soups, tempting sweets and award winning bagels.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Baker: This person is in charge in garnishing all dessert items, maintaining knowledge of all menu product, maintaining an in-depth knowledge of all bakery products. He/She will be greeting all guests, taking all to-go orders and respond to customer needs.   The average wage for this position starts at $8+ per hour.

Restaurant Manager: The restaurant manager oversees the overall restaurant operations. he must manage all the restaurant activities; monitor personnel performances; hire deserving employees and train them; should also ensure that personnel are working to attain the company’s goals.   The average wage for this position starts at $12+ per hour.

Busser: The busser’s tasks are: clearing and resetting tables, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, changing linens and rolling silverware.   The average wage for this position starts at $8+ per hour.

Server: The duties of server are: greeting and guiding guests through the menu, providing exceptional hospitality, maintaining in-depth knowledge of all bar product, completing all assigned side work.   The average wage for this position starts at $3+ per hour plus tips.

Dishwasher: This person takes charge of cleaning dishes, kitchen wares and other kitchen equipments. he must also store these items in the proper place.   The average wage for this position starts at $8+ per hour.

Host: This person is in charge of supervising and managing the activities of dining room area, as well as the dining personnel; ensure that people in the area provide fast and courteous service to guests; schedule and arrange dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners. He/She has the responsibilities and duties to deal with guest properly, attend to their needs promptly and answer complains and inquiries; assign work tasks and coordinate activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous services; ensure neatness and cleanliness; may also help in hiring, training and assigning personnel in the dining room.   The average wage for this position starts at $8+ per hour.
