McCoy was established in 1914. Up to present, the company has continuously focused on producing products and services according to their promises. McCoy serves the global market through direct sales and distributors. The company’s operations are in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and the U.S. Gulf Coast and its corporate office is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and the branch offices are in Alberta, British Columbia, Louisiana, and Texas.

Currently, the company is building a complete drilling equipment line for international oilfield service contractors, drilling contractors, and rig manufacturers.

Job Descriptions/Salary Averages

Since McCoy is a fast growing company, they are constantly in need of skilled and dedicated workers to be assigned in different department.   The hired the these hired people are to maintain the company’s leading position in Alberta, British Columbia and Louisiana for our Energy Products & Services and Mobile Solutions segments.

Accountant:   The Accountant will perform a high level of accounting duties and assist the Controller with coordinating staff work.   Basically, this person will prepare payroll and do respective reports, review invoices, process credit applications and a lot more of tasks.   The annual salary is $59K to $63K.

Design Engineer:  The person assigned in this position will cooperate in conceptualizing a product until the time that it will be launched; completing conceptual designs with modifications of the existing products, set and achieve design project deadlines;   maintain technical accuracy and details of all work completed; responsive and proactive to production and sales requests for support; investigate technical problems and assist in the implementation of new standards.

Market Research Analyst: This position is responsible for data interpretations, reports formulations, and recommendations based on the findings carried out from the market research. He/She works with the clients to understand the market needs and to find out solutions to their problems while using the product.   He/She will also design and assist in the development of questionnaires to be used in data gathering and will conduct in depth data analyses using traditional and advanced techniques. He/She will be receiving an annual salary of $58K to $62K.

Area Manager: The person assigned in this position is responsible for the operation of the company’s branch. It is his responsibilities to carry out company’s objective and to ensure higher performance in the marketing and production.   He/She also has to troubleshot the operational, managerial and marketing problems of the branch and will directly report to the head office.
