The Larry H. Miller Group, owned by Larry H. Miller is a diversified operation that includes 36 auto dealerships in seven states and is ranked as the tenth largest car dealership in the nation. From 1979 to 1999, the company had sold about 420,000 cars. Through his group of companies, Miller also owned the Utah Jazz team in the National Basketball Association, the Utah Starzz of the Women’s National Basketball Association, and Salt Lake City’s Delta Center, the home of the Jazz and Starzz. Job Description/Salary Ranges
Car Sales: This person will work with the sales staff to generate sales. He/She will build and maintain excellent customer relationships focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience; establish and maintain customer consistently and efficiently; make inventories; obtain referrals on a weekly basis; follow up customers; attend dealership trainings. The annual salary is expected at the range of $35K to $37K.
Finance Manager: This position is responsible for providing financial advice and support to clients and other company staff to enable them to make sound business decisions. He/She is to interpret financial information; monitor and interpret cash flows and predicting future trends; analyze market trends; formulate strategic and long-term business plans; research and report on factors influencing business performance; analyze competitors and market trends; develop financial management mechanisms to minimize financial risk; conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities; manage a company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems; act as liaison with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out. The expected annual salary is $65K to $70K.
Auto Technician: The auto technician will perform routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations to all types of cars, trucks, vans and sport utility vehicles. Technicians perform diagnostic tests to determine the problem and then make necessary repairs. The annual salary is $21K to $22K.
