Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Associate: As a store associate, you’re going to assist customers with their purchases as they walk into the store.   You will educate them on their purchase, as well as help them with their selection, showing them both rings, necklaces, and more.   You will also help with placing orders, as well as assisting them with previous purchases.       In your downtime, you’re going to help with keeping the jewelery counter clean.   You’re going to wipe down counters, as well as make sure that the store is running at 100%.   You will assist other mangers with any duties that they need help with.   The average wage is $8 to $15 a hour.

Assistant Manager: As an assistant manager, you’re going to be in charge of running the store, where you will help assign tasks, as well as do many of the jobs that the sales associates perform.   You will also help with opening, and closing down the store as well.   You’re going to assist all customers that come in with any inquiries that they may have.   This can include cleaning the jewelry, sending back jewelry back to the factory for repair as well as helping them with customized orders.   The average wage reported is around $12 to $15 a hour.

Store Manager: As a store manager, you will run the entire store, where you will follow the company / corporate policy.   You will help hire employees, as well as help with many various tasks such as opening, and closing the store.   You’ll also be in charge of assisting with meetings, conference calls as well as company corporate meetings.   The average wage starts around $31,000+ a year.
