History of Just Jeans

It was on December 1970 when Just Jeans was founded by the Kimberley family. The Kimberly’s built this store in Chapel Street, Prahran. Just Jeans was found almost the same with the growth of Denim Jeans. Selling jeans stacked on shelves were just one of those proofs of having a great business growth. New stores were constructed in other place through the years of 1970 and 1980. Just Jeans continually grows and it reaches over 260 establishments which are all selling jeanswear and casual fashion choices. Just jeans is one of the Australia’s largest retailers.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Store Manager: As Store Manager you will be given the autonomy to run the store like your own. You will be responsible for maximizing sales, upholding the image of the brand and coaching and developing your team. You will lead by example and demonstrate extensive knowledge in loss prevention, health and safety and visual merchandising. You will be receiving $19.74 per hour or $40,000 to $50,000 annually plus bonuses.

Sales Assistant: this person will be responsible to stand as the ambassador of the brand, drive and process store sales, assist in store housekeeping and visual merchandising of the store, and attend store meetings. Average annual salary is more or less $33K.

Assistant Store Manager: This person takes over in the absence of the General Manager. He must have exceptional customer service, must be in-charge of the staff development and training, he knows stock management. He has responsibilities on advertising, Promotions and Visual Merchandising; performance and Productivity Improvement; store Administration; managing Shrinkage; conducting and attending Meetings and group Member Accountability. His annual average income is more or less $27K.

Warehouse Assistant: The tasks include: assisting with incoming deliveries – unloading & appropriate placement of stock (heavy lifting will be involved); picking, packing and dispatching of stock & orders; maintaining housekeeping within the warehouse; performing basic administration duties.
