Job Description/Wage Averages

Lube Technician: This person has the job of checking a vehicle’s fluids and making general repairs when necessary. Lube technician also will check the oil levels in  cars  and trucks, the status of air filters, windshield wiper fluid,tires, brake fluid and engine coolant. He must be expert on how much of each fluid (and how much tire pressure) a vehicle needs for peak performance. The hourly rate is within the range of $8 to $10.

Store Manager: The store Manager is in charge with planning and executing strategies to drive sales and monitor to improve employee performance. He/she is the in-charge of overseeing the overall operations, sales and profitability of the store. This also includes proper merchandising and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The annual salary ranges  $32K to $48K.

Assistant Manager: The assistant manager assists the store manager in managing the store. He may be given the task to supervise a certain area say for instance the merchandizing of the store’s products as well as in hiring and training new employees. He will also be involved in strategic planning and in goal setting. The hourly rate for this position is at the range of $9 to $10.

Customer Service Advisor: This position attends to complex customer questions, complaints and special orders that require additional attention and must ensure that customers are satisfied with the product or services offered. He or she will also help the customers find out what product they need. The hourly rate is $8 to $11.
