JB’s Family Restaurants started in year 1961. JB’s is a family restaurant chain serving great food at fair prices for breakfast lunch and dinner.
JB’s operates 50 restaurants including those that are company operated and franchised in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.
The company is known for our generous portions of comfort style foods with so many choices for those wanting healthy options or more contemporary flavors. They serve home-style foods like Pot Roast and chicken fried steak, lighter choices like chicken taco salad or our bountiful salad bar with lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, soups and salads at fair price yet satisfactory to your taste.
Job Description/Wage Averages
Cook : This restaurant position is responsible in preparing food according to the restaurant specifications and customers’ orders. He/She must prepare foods while considering food safety standards like proper food preparation and sufficient cooking. He/She is to ensure even cooking, cook foods according to recipes, see to it that foods are cooked sufficiently, according to regular cooking temperatures, estimate food consumptions and other duties and responsibilities assigned to him. The average wage starts at $8 per hour.
Restaurant Managers: As the restaurant manager, he will manage, plan, and organize all restaurant operations like hiring and training employees; making sure that all activities in the restaurant are done according to standards and are geared towards the attainment of the company’s goals. The average wage starts at $13 per hour.
Cashier: The cashier is responsible in receiving the customers’ payment which may be in the form of cash or through credit cards; he/she is also responsible in responding to the customer’s needs and in answering customer inquiries. If any problems do arise, you’ll do your best to consult with the managers on duty. The average wage starts at $8 per hour.
Restaurant Crew: The crews are the front liners of the restaurant; they receive visitors, take, and receive orders as well. They have to see to it that the customers are given high quality services and products and are served with the foods they have specified. The average wage starts at $8 per hour.
