Job Description/Wage Averages

Server: This position must responsibly deal with the guest  as you serve the needs or orders of the guests. You need to ensure that you are able to provide the customers with a clean, comfortable environment for their satisfactory dining experience.   The average wage for this particular position starts at $3 per hour plus tips.

Bartender: This person will serve and prepare beverages according to recipe while ensuring guests’ satisfaction. He/She is to maintain a well-presented, well-stocked, and clean beverage station too.   The average wage for this particular position starts at $8 per hour.

Dishwasher: This person is responsible in cleaning all dishes, glasses, utensils and other kitchen equipment and to ensure that these stuff are stored to maintain cleanliness.   The average wage for this particular position starts at $8 per hour.

Prep Cook: This person is in   charge in preparing food for guests;  make sure that all equipment, utensils and working areas are maintained and safe for food preparation; coordinate prep amounts with managers, follow recipe instructions, use checklists and prep sheets,  and adhere to  food handling guidelines.   The average wage for this particular position starts at $8 per hour.

Line Cook: The line cook has to set up the work station, prep items for service, clean the station and may also perform cleaning of kitchen equipment, organize produce delivery, train a new cook and perform kitchen inventory.   The average wage for this particular position starts at $8 per hour.

Chef: This position is responsible in creating menu and dishes, establishing and enforcing food specifications, portion control, recipes and sanitation; and controlling food and labor costs.   The average wage for this particular position starts at $9 per hour.
