Imperial Oil Limited is Canada’s biggest petroleum company. Imperial Oil is engaged in the exploration, production and sale of crude oil and natural gas. It is controlled by US based ExxonMobil, which owns 69.6% of its stock. The company owns 25% of Syncrude Canada Ltd., the globe’s biggest producer of synthetic crude oil from strip mining of oil sands. Imperial Oil manages service stations in Canada under the trade name Esso as well as other brand names. Industrial Hygienist: You will offer industrial hygiene support to petroleum production operations in Western Canada. Your work will entail identifying, evaluating and controlling health risks within the workplace. The average wage is from $23-$24 per hour.
