Located mostly in the South and the Midwest, Hardee’s has been around since 1960.   Currently owned by CKE restaurant, Hardee’s is currently the #4 burger fast food chain, following McDonald’s, Burger King, as well as Wendy’s.   Wilbur Hardee is the founder and has over 1900 hardee’s restaurants that are either corporate or franchised owned.

Job Descriptions / Wage Averages

Cook: You will be in charge of cooking all the orders to perfection.   You will be responsible to make sure that the food gets out on time, as well as in a timely manner.   In your down time, you will clean up the grills, as well as the kitchen area.   You may be also required to help up front.   This job pays an average of $7 to $10 a hour.

Interview Tips

After you have submitted your employment application and other application requirements, you will be notified for an interview a week after. The Hardee’s hiring manager, a shift leader or assistant manager, will do the interview after reviewing the applicant information. The interview process generally consists of a one on one interview with a hiring manager or can also be conducted through group interviews or panel interviews. Most of the interview questions revolve around how well can you handle customers and how can you work as a team. A positive personality should be shown also during the interview.
