The first Ground Round Grill & Bar was opened in 1969 as a neighborhood pub, meaning, this company has been in business for more than 40 years. As a founding brand and pioneer in casual dining, Ground Round has adapted and evolved its menu and offerings to fit the changing needs of our guests and their lifestyles. Job Description/ Wage Averages

Cashier:   This position works directly with the other restaurant personnel and with the guests as well for all sales transactions. He/She may be also involved in screening and directing incoming phone calls, as well as handling to-go and pick-up food orders. The cashiers help the servers in the processing of bills-of-sale and credit card transactions.

Food and Beverage Server: This position has the responsibilities of requesting or taking orders from and serve food and beverages to guests; checking on guest satisfaction and handling the payment and complaints/concerns of customers. He/She must have the knowledge of service techniques, food and beverage product and practices.

Assistant Manager: This position works  as the person who will be considered as right hand of the restaurant general manager. He will help in providing exceptional food quality and guest service; help in the training and development of their staff.   He/She will focus on building sales, controlling costs, and learning all aspects of our business.

Host/Hostess: This position has the duties and responsibilities of  coordinating and supervising the activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to guests; scheduling of dining reservations and arrangements; greeting and escorting the guests, providing menus; responding to complaints; inspecting dining room serving stations to ensure neatness and cleanliness.
