Golden Corral Manager Salary

Golden Corral is a family style restaurant that offers buffet and grill. Its headquarters is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. James Maynard and William Carl were trying to acquire franchises from different companies but failed in doing so. They finally conceived the idea of putting up their own restaurant and this paved way to the first Golden Corral Family Steak House which opened up on January 3, 1973.

 

As a manager you will need to coordinate with upper management regarding day to day operations in the restaurant. Since this is a family restaurant the highest quality of service should be provided. You’ll need to make sure each employee is able to perform at the maximum capacity in order to provide the best service possible.

 

Equipment should be checked daily to avoid delays and to identify if repair is needed. Inventory of stocks should also be monitored making sure that shortage does not happen. Sanitation is important as you would like to provide a wholesome hassle free dining experience for the whole family.

Restaurant Manager

  • Salary: The salary of a Restaurant Manager range from $34,000 to $37,000. And this ultimately will be based on any previous experience they had.
  • Bonuses: Like other positions, the company is not offering any type of bonus structures.
  • Profit Sharing: Profit sharing is not provided by the company.
  • Stock Options: Franchised owned restaurants do not usually offer stock options.

Kitchen Manager

  • Salary: A Kitchen Manager can get anywhere from $50,000 to $53,000. This all depends on the experience the employee has.
  • Bonuses: Kitchen Managers are qualified to get bonuses and currently cash bonuses are the same across all the stores which is $10,000.
  • Profit Sharing: Profit sharing is not being offered by the company.
  • Stock Options: Since most of the restaurants are franchise owned, they do not offer stock options.
