History of   Fitness Together

In 1983, Rick Sikorski opened his primary Fitness Together in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Sikorski has come a long way from the days when he was too poor to afford an apartment and slept in a sleeping bag in his small personal training studio. Nowadays, in excess of 25 years later, Sikorski’s single studio has bloomed into Fitness Together, the world’s biggest personal training franchise.

Job Description / Average Wage

Personal Trainer: As a Personal Trainer you will give a one to one assistance or fitness instructions to the client and help him/her to attain the set fitness goals. The first thing that a personal trainer has to do when a client approaches, is to examine and test the physical condition of the client. Then as the trainer you have to design a workout program that will help attain the needs of the client. Once the workout program is designed, the personal trainer has to track the daily development record and analyze accordingly. A personal trainer can work in various workplaces that can include, corporate offices, hotels, gyms, private homes. Below are list of some of the basic duties of a personal trainer.

• Understand the needs of the client and plan the workout routine accordingly.
• Choose acceptable set of exercises for the client.
• Demonstrate the exercises and make sure that the client is performing the exercises correctly.

The average wage for this job is $14 — $20 an hour.

Branch Manager: A Branch Manager is the person responsible of the overall operation of a large business or organization situated outside the main branch. The branch manager serves as a leader to his or her team of associates and the one in control of a particular branch office. The branch manager makes sure that the employee’s salary is correct, makes sure that the business grows larger, able to provide customer satisfaction and committed to the success of the busines. Fitness Consultant: As a Fitness Consultant you will endorse Fitness Together memberships, programs, services, and products by motivating potential members to begin working toward their fitness goals. Continue personalized relationships with each new and existing club member. Maintain the business plan and marketing strategies to increase membership sales and Fitness Together products and services.  Major duties and responsibilities  are as follow:

• Provide outstanding customer service to new and existing members.
• Build a optimistic relationship with members by means of striving to determine fitness needs.
• Initiate, build up and sustain personalized relationships with members.
• Educate members on how Fitness Together can help them achieve a healthier way of life.

The average wage for this job is $7 — $8 an hour.

Sales Representative: This position is responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage excellence and consistency of product and service delivery.Primary responsibilities include:

• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to spot specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

The average salary for this job is around $21,000 — $55,000 a year.
