Being young does not limit one’s capability for personal growth. This was proven by college sophomore Jim Grote when he established Donatos Pizza which is a fast casual restaurant chain. The restaurant chain offers other food varieties such as subs and salads. The restaurant operates in over 5 states as well as in few selected key locations.

The manager for Donatos has to monitor the whole operations and has several things to look after. The manager interacts with their clients and makes sure that the customers are provided the service they deserve. The manager also addresses any concerns raised by the customer.

Items in stock are also monitored by the manager to guarantee food production will not be delayed. The manger has a checklist of items and contacts dealers when they need to order a food item. Several reports are then sent to the upper management which provides additional information that can be used by the company to improve on service.

Restaurant Manager

• Salary: Restaurant managers receive $30,000 to $40,000 annually, the amount depends on the experience managers have.
• Bonuses: Bonuses are not provided to the employees holding this position.
• Profit Sharing: Profit sharing is not given to the employees as an added incentive.
• Stock Options: Additional incentives such as stock options are not provided to the employees that have this position.
