Job Description / Average Wage

Service Agent: Responsible for servicing and inspecting rental vehicles for customer use, transporting vehicles from servicing area to customer pick-up, sustaining gas logs on vehicles and maintaining sanitation of work area. Other responsibilities are related to sanitary and service rental vehicles for customer use including washing, fueling, gassing, adding air and fluids and related preparations, evaluation examination checklist to guarantee that vehicles are accurately prepared and meet the criteria of safety. Transport customers to and from the rental center as necessary.   Locate and deliver vehicles to suitable locations as directed.   Sweep and clean service area and sustain equipment, tools and sufficient cleaning supplies.     The average earnings for this job is $7-$11 an hour.

Operations Manager: Responsible for welcoming customers and responding to service issues, tracking fleet and equipment inventory, preparing reports, optimizing procedure competence throughout employee coaching and coordinating lot progress. He/She supervises rental sales agents, staff assistants, shuttlers, bus drivers and/or service agents. Other jobs include greeting and employing customers, synchronizing and directing lot movement, resolving obstruction issues, and helping staff with the declaration of customer service issues, including rentals, check-in, vehicle inspection, servicing and transporting. He/She will supervise, teach, pick, allocate, schedule, train and evaluate assistant personnel, recommend or begin connected personnel actions, and respond to worker relations issues.     The average salary for this job is $38,000 — $89,000 a year.

Rental Sales Agent: Responsible for greeting customers, processing rentals and selling possible services, answering and receiving telephone calls, resolving unpaid rentals, responding to customer inquiries and grievances, servicing vehicles for customer rentals and communicating with shuttle drivers for customer pick-ups. He/She must also submit a variety of reports to supervisor; maintain and inform rental agreement files, contact and inform customers of overdue rental vehicles and request as to the expected date of return, process rental extensions. He/She should balance money in counter drawers, recover amount of money collected during shift, inclusive deposit slip and place money in secure.     The average wage for this job is $9 — $10 a hour.
