Job Description/Wage Average

Sales Associate: Bally Total Fitness is looking for motivated entry-level sales professionals to work in the club locations. The duties and responsibilities include: greeting potential members and giving escorted tours of the facility; presenting Bally Total Fitness memberships to potential new members; proactively generating leads and sell new memberships including community outreach; motivating members and guests to begin a healthy lifestyle. The avergae hourly rate is $10.

Sales Manager: The Sales manager is reponsible for the profitability of the health clubs; he will oversee, develop and motivate inside sales staff; and manage revenue streams for membership, retail, and personal training sales. The annual salary ranges $18k to $48k.

Personal Trainer: This person has duties and responsibilites that include: conduct fitness consultations and assessments; develop unique and individualized programs that ensure client safety, satisfaction, and enhancement of personal fitness goals; ensure safe and effective use of equipment; maintain consistent client base; have a willingness to “sell” fitness/personal training; be driven, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a desire to succeed.   The annual salary ranages $29k to $31k.

Front Desk Receptionist: The position is incharge in greeting all members and guests enthusiastically and professionally; answering the phone and directing calls to the proper person; taking and delivering messages for all team members; checking membership cards, account status, workout and guest registration; accepting payments and generating receipts for renewals, dues, lost cards and processing retail transactions; and any other responsibilities that would be required to maintain effective operations of the front desk including – issuing photo id cards, addressing membership queries, keeping the surrounding areas organized, and other duties as assigned. The hourly rate average is $8.
