History of Baker’s Square

The restaurant began in early 1970 as a solo restaurant called Mrs. C’s in Des Moines, IA. Mrs. C’s served homemade soups, cold sandwiches and fresh baked pie, cream pies and double-crusted fruit pies; so in good quality, they promptly earned a standing equivalent to the pies that are grandma made.

At the establishment of the fourth decade of business, Bakers Square’s pies are still as superior. In fact, their pies are American Pie Council 2009 award champs. They are ideal complement to the business full menu of original offerings like the Honey Mustard Club Pita as well as Tomato Basil Quiche along with classic favorites such as the Chicken Pot Pie or Strawberry Crepes.
Nowadays they serve up breakfast, lunch and dinner at Bakers Square restaurants in the Upper Midwest. They are pompous of their pie inheritance and rightfully so. Job Description/Average Wage

Director, Culinary: As the candidate of this position your main task is to direct and supervise the operations of the test kitchen, including menu development, inventory and purchasing of supplies and cost control. Must be a culinary degree or four year college degree in food related field is required.   This job is going to pay anywhere from $48,000 to $52,000 a year.

Accounts Payable Administrator: People in charge in the position is the one responsible in assisting the actions accounting manager in the daily functions of the accounts payable department to guarantee the highest degree of accuracy, productivity as well as customer service; provide assistance to accounts payable specialists regarding the appropriate coding of invoices and other practical issues; publicize employees with established policies, systems, rules and regulations, observe processor activity to look for areas of training opportunities, give technical guidance on the more intricate issues.
