TruGreen is owned by the privately held company by the name of ServiceMaster.  They also own other brands such as Terminix, and Furniture Medica. The company was founded back in 1929.

Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Rep / Customer Service: You will mainly work at a local office helping set up appointments, as well as making sure the customer has all of their questions answered. You will also offer more services to your current customers. On average, you’re going to start off around $8 to $13 hour. Incentives may apply as well.

Door to door sales: You will assigned zones on a weekly basis. Your duties will include going door to door asking customers if they would like to sign up for TruGreen services. You will educate them on any questions that they have. This job pays hourly, as well as has many incentives. The average salesman brings home around $1,300 a month.

Lawn specialist: You will apply the chemicals to your customer’s lawns. You will also assist them with any problems they may have. You will also drive the company owned truck to any location that needs work. Your average wage will be between $11 and $17 a hour.
