Job Description / Average Wage

Team Player / Store Associate: As a “team player”, you’re going to be assigned to a department within the store.  You will help with stocking items, pricing them, as well as making sure that the department / area is staying clean.  You will also make sure that you the customers are happy with their shopping experience, where you will answer any questions that they may have.  The average wage is $7 to $9 a hour.

Sales Associate: You’re going to work the sales floor where you’re going to help all customers with any issues / concerns / questions that they have.  You’re going to help with keeping the particular department clean, as well as ensure that the customer is satisfied.   You may also have to help clean in some particular areas and more.  The average wage is anywhere from $7 to $10 a hour.

Cashier: As a cashier at Hibbett Sports, you will be in charge of helping ringing up people at the front.  You will accept coupons, bag their items, as well as make sure that they were satisfied with their purchase.  You will also assist with cleaning the store in your downtime.  The average wage is $7 to $9 a hour.

Assistant Manager: As an assistant manager, you’re going to answer to the main manager of the store.  You will help assign tasks, you will open up the store, as well as help shut it down.  You will also assist employees with whatever tasks that they need help with.  The average wage is anywhere from $8 to $11 a hour.

Store Manager: As a store manager, you’re going to run the entire store.  You’re going to be in charge of opening and closing the store, helping associates with all the duties that they need help with, as well as perform many various duties such as hiring, running payroll and completing various paperwork duties.  This job is going to pay anywhere from $28,000 to $35,000 a year depending on experience and more.
