Job Description and Average Wage

Cashier: The cashier collects payment in all forms and answers on time to customer needs and queries. A cashier executes a variety of functions including greeting and receiving customers, bagging groceries, cleaning register and belts all through shift. This welcomes all customers and thanks them for their business. The cashier redeems coupons, bags groceries, alters register tapes as well as requests assistance when needed.
