It was in the year 1958, when Village Inn was established in great-tasting food and extra-friendly service in a clean and comfortable family environment. The restaurant is used to serve made-from-scratch buttermilk pancakes, eggs cooked any style and a pot of hot coffee on every table. Other menu selections iinclude fresh green salads, juicy burgers, all-American sandwiches, traditional dinner entreés like Chicken-Fried Steak and well-loved children’s items; French Silk, Lemon Supreme, Country Apple and Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme. Village Inn’s corporate and franchise restaurants now reach more than 200, located in the Rocky Mountain region, the Midwest, Arizona and Florida.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Baker:  The bakeris responsible for preparing a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods. Baking must be done according to company’s standard recipes and customer preferences as well. Employees will receive an hourly rate at the average of $8.

Cook : The cook is the player in the kitchen and cooperate with the rest of the cooks in preparing the foods which can be the specialty of the restaurant or those that are ordered by the guests. Cooks must be skilled in attractive serving of food. Cooks have to maintain a high sense of hygiene in the kitchen and must ensure high quality food preparation standards.

Server: The server attends to the guests’ needs; receives orders and delivers the orders accordingly. He/She must to respond to different inquiries of the customers and may also suggest menus. He/She must process bills accurately or work with the cashier in calculating checks.

Busser: This person maintains the dining room-bus the dishes and other utensils to the dishwasher, cleans the spills, refills the ice bins, cleans the dining area and keeps the area organized.

Host:   The hosts mans the resources as well as the personnel in the dining room; attends to the needs and inquiries of the guests; arranges dining reservations; may train or hire employees who will be assigned in the dining area.
