Job Description/Wage Averages
Cashier : A cashier mans the cash register. A cashier should know how to process cash payments and non-cash payments. He/She should be able to talk to the customers of other payment options available to them. He/She receives an hourly rate at the average of $8 per hour.
Assistant General Manager: This position helps the General Manager in regards to strategy, policies, procedures, guests, staff, and in attaining budgeted goals and sales growth. He/She will supervise operations to achieve targeted goals for food and beverage costs. He/She must oversee food-handling practices, waste control, ordering, receiving, and setting pars and sales forecasting; comply with company standards in the areas of cost and quality controls; ensure adherence to all operational standards and policies; supervise staff and hold them accountable for executing their duties according to company policy and standards; maintain standards for food, beverage, service and atmosphere while building positive customer relations. The hourly average rate is $10.
Shift Manager: The Shift Manager is responsible for leading restaurant operations during a shift by following the guidelines, policies and procedures of the company. The Shift Managers are also responsible for delivering outstanding guest service, coaching, training and developing team members, and managing inventory, labor and cash handling. The expected hourly rate is $10.
Server: The position serves a very important role for you are going to deal with the customers most of the time. Basic duties include, taking and delivering orders of the guest; answering inquiries; attending to complains and other needs as well as process payments. The average wage for this position can start at $3 per hour plus tips.
