Job Description/Wage Averages
General Manager: This position must direct and manage all the activities in the company. He/She has to ensure smooth operation and to make sure that everyone is working for the attainment of company’s goals. He/She must be able to coordinate staff and resources in a high volume environment; must possess strong sales building skills, knowledge of profit and loss, excellent communication skills, and a positive, results oriented attitude. The average wage for this particular position can start at $13 per hour.
Assistant Manager: He will perform exceptional food quality and guest service through the training and development of their staff. They will focus on building sales, controlling costs, and learning all aspects of our business so they can take the next step as a General Manager. The average wage for this particular position can start at $11 per hour.
Kitchen Assistant: This position has the responsibility to set up the work station, prep items for service, clean the station and may also perform general duties like cleaning kitchen equipment, organize produce delivery, and perform complete inventory in the kitchen. The average wage for this particular position can start at $8 per hour.
Server: The server will be taking and delivering orders for the guests. He/She ensures that the guests’ needs are attended promptly and must ensure customer satisfaction too. The average wage for this particular position can start at $2 per hour plus tips.
Dishwasher: This position cleans the dishes, utensils and the kitchen equipment. He/She has to make sure that these items are organized well. He/She must also ensure that the kitchen is sanitized and safe for food preparation. The average wage for this particular position can start at $8 per hour.
