Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Associate: You’re going to be in charge of helping customers with any problems that they have.   You will ring up customers, help stock shelves, as well as make sure that the store is running at 100%.     With those that have a cell phone center, you can help them with plans, picking out a phone and more.   You will help the managers open the store, as well as assist with stock, answering the phone and making sure that the customer is happy with his/her purchase.   Generally, you will work with 2 or 3 people, depending on the time of the year / season.   The average wage is anywhere from $7 to $13 a hour.

Assistant Manager: The assistant manager is going to be responsible for watching an entire shift when the main manager isn’t in the store.   You’re going to help with assigning tasks, making sure that the employees are doing their job, as well as helping with the customers and more.   You’re going to answer to the main manager.   The average wage is $8 to $15 a hour.

Store Manager: You’re going to run the store itself.   You will open up the store, as well as close it.   You will also have your assistant manager assist you as well.   You will do the same duties as the associates, plus more.   You will create schedules, as well as answer to the district manager.   A store manager is paid anywhere from $9 to $16 a hour.   This will depend on your previous experience.
