Joe’s American Bar and Grill provides menu that features all the classic American favorites along with some of the restaurant’s own signature dishes. Job Description/Wage Averages
Bartender: This position has the duties and responsibilities that include: performing liquor cost and inventory control; communicating with the guests and staff; organizing and cleaning the bar area and the storeroom; greeting the guests when they enter and leave the restaurant; pouring drinks for Servers; serving guests at bar and bar tables; restocking of bar with glassware and drink ingredients; and must ensure customer satisfaction. The average wage can start at around $8 per hour.
Host: The person assigned in this position must greet and communicate to every Guest, provide the restaurant’s guests with any assistance they may need and answer any questions they may have. The host must also make sure that meals get off to a great start and assist other Crewmembers whenever possible. He/She will also be arranging the dining reservations. The average wage can start at around $8 per hour.
Restaurant Manager: The restaurant manager spearheads the restaurant. He/She will manage the overall operations in the restaurant and ensure that all of the activities are designed for the attainment of the company’s goals and to maintain the company’s standards. He/She will also hire and train the restaurant staff. He/She will also be engaged in planning out the overall restaurant operations. The average wage can start at around $12 per hour.
Dishwasher: This position ensures that dishes, kitchen wares and kitchen equipment are clean and properly store in the right place. You will also be in charge of ensuring that the back of the kitchen remains clean as well as the main lobby of the restaurant. The average wage can start at around $8 per hour.
Cashier: This person receives the customer’s payment whether through cash or credit cards. He/She must also help to ensure customer satisfaction. The average wage can start at around $8 per hour.
