Job Description/Average Wage

Salesperson / Cashier: He/She Performs as a salesperson in Hallmark or non Hallmark product sections of the employee card shop or the surplus shop; inputs customer purchases, obtains cash from customer, enters the operation on the cash register and returns change to customer, balances register,   makes decisions on ordering stock and maintaining assigned product areas, works as part of a team,   performs other duties as necessitated. He/She maintains the appearance of the shop according to the Hallmark Retail Guide, with light housekeeping duties.   The average wage is $9 to $14 an hour.

Retail Merchandiser: Responsible for regular maintenance of the greeting card department in the wholesale business you are assigned, including ordering, restocking, straightening and organizing product and displays. Work hours will differ depending on the store you are assigned, but, generally, will vary between 3 – 20 hours per week.   Salary offered to the successful candidate is $8.70 an hour.

Installation Merchandiser: Responsible for working with an installation team on store fixture installation of new stores, store remodels, store relocation and product revisions. This includes moving card departments, building fixtures and also merchandising product. Hours of work   will be different based on installation activities with the opportunity that some weeks will not have any installations scheduled.   The hourly salary to this position is $8.48 an hour.

Part-time Installation Leader: This position will take charge of the activities of the installation merchandisers. You will also be accountable for managing installation budgets, travel budgets, and other costs associated with installations. Candidate should have solid organizational and administrative skills and also be a tough team leader.   The average wage is $10 to $ 11 an hour.

Territory Assistant: This position will manage a group of retail merchandisers within an exact geography. Also, he will be responsible for developing strong relationships and interacting frequently with store personnel and management as well as managing service and travel budgets.   The hourly salary for a Territory Assistant is $13.85.
