History of Friendly’s
Friendly’s Ice Cream Corporation is the owner and operator of the Friendly’s restaurant chain on the east coast. The company was founded by two young brothers Curtis Blake who was 18 years old and his brothers, Prestley Blake who was 20 years old. They put together the ice cream shop at the height of the depression. Their double-dip ice cream cones were only 5 cents and many people enjoyed the warm friendly atmosphere.
The store was famous for having an old fashion street clock at their entrance way and many of the restaurants still do have this clock with the name imprinted of the city that they are located. The company boasts of over 15,000 employees and proudly operates over 500 restaurants in 16 states over the East Coast.
Job Description / Average Wage
Server: The server provides the customers with their orders after they have placed them. They make sure that the food is served fresh and hot. They also take the dessert orders and may scoop the ice cream desserts when placed. The average wage for a server is $5.50 an hour.

Restaurant General Manager: The general manager is the one who is in charge of all the restaurant operations along with making sure that a profit is made for the overall company. They are also open or close the restaurant working along with the assistant manager. They must make sure that payroll is completed and sent off to the corporate in a timely manner.
