Job Description/Wage Ranges
Sales Clerk: The position is responsible for keeping record of the entire inventory sold in the store; organizing and planning proper display and stacking of the goods and supplies of the store; assisting customers and giving them detailed product demonstration; ensuring the proper handling of goods and reporting loss and damages to the concerned authorities; helping in billing, procuring payment and other check out functions of the store; placing orders for replenishment of stock, and filling order forms and making sales evaluation and reports. The salary is more or less $31K annually.
Meat Assistant: This person is responsible in following company approved procedures for receiving product, price marking, and restocking cases to ensure quality protection, accuracy, and product rotation of the meat. He/She needs to ensure that the inventory control procedures are strictly followed to maximize product freshness, quality, turnover, and availability for maximum sales. He/She will also help customers and will properly merchandise products in display cases. The annual salary may vary and usually it is within the range of $25K to $35K per year.
Stock Clerk: Stock Clerk ensures that supplies in the storehouse are delivered to its exact destination — whether it is the retail store or the end customer. He/She also oversees the stock and supply aspects of the company. His hourly rate is $7 to $12.
