Job Description/Wage Averages
Sales Associates: This person is in charge in generating sales for the company. He/She is to devote his working hours in planning for strategies together with the managers on how to carry out the sales activities of the company. The hourly rate for this position ranges $8 to $10.
Store Manager: The store Manager works by planning and executing strategies to drive sales and improve employee performance. He/she is to oversee the overall operations, sales and profitability of the store. Managers must adhere to all company policies and procedures and must be a role model and demonstrate the upmost professionalism and integrity while creating a climate of trust and respect within the team. He/She must show utmost professionalism and must deal with customers accordingly. The average wage for this position can start at $13 per hour.
Shoe Associate: The shoe sales associate works to sell shoes in a retail store. Shoe sales associates interact with customers; display shoes within an establishment. They must know a wide array of footwear and should ahead to customer service. The hourly rate is in the average of $8 to $9.
Inventory: Working in the back room, you’re going to be responsible for assisting with unloading trucks, unpacking goods as well as making sure that everything is in working order. You’ll also assist with bringing inventory to the front of the store. The average wage can start at $8 per hour.
Cashier: The cashier is responsible for accepting the payments of the customers. He/She must have wide knowledge about pricing, price adjustments and other promotional sales of the company. He/She is to ensure high quality services too. The average wage for this position can start at $8 per hour.
