Job Description/Wage Averages
Restaurant Managers: At BD’s Mongolian Grill, this person has the responsibilities of ensuring that the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively within the Company’s fiscal and operational guidelines; monitoring overall operations of the restaurant including guest satisfaction, food quality, and ambiance; developing daily, weekly, and annual sales projections and maintains restaurant budget and overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant. He/She is also responsible for the Food Production and Preparation- handling this position will ensure all menu items are made according to established specifications; maintain food safety and sanitation standards of the restaurant. The average wage starts at $13 per hour.
Wait Staff: Working as a server, you’re going to be responsible for seating guests as well as helping them with their orders. You’re going to take drink orders as well as clean up the tables. You’ll also assist with any problems that they may have. The average wage can start at $8 per hour.
Dishwasher:The tasks and responsibilities of the dishwasher include washing dishes, cook wares; clean garbage cans with water or steam; place clean dishes accordingly, maintain the kitchen area and keep it sanitized, receive and store supplies, transfer supplies and equipment to the storage room and to the work area and vice versa; and other responsibilities assigned to him. The average wage starts at $8 per hour.
Host: The host or hostess of the restaurant will supervise and coordinate the activities of the dining room in the restaurant; specific duties include making sure that all menus free of spots or stains and complete; ensuring that the restaurant is clean and inviting; checking restaurant and planning out reservations; entertaining guest and visitors and performing other restaurant operation activities. The average wage starts at $8 per hour.
