History of Swarovski

Founded back in 1895 in Austria, today, Swarovski is known for it’s pristine cut diamonds that just about everybody knows about worldwide.  They sell everything from jewelry to figurines that are from various styles, and shapes.  Worldwide, this company employs close to more than 25,000 people, including the United States.

Job Description / Average Wage

Hourly Sales Associate: You will help all customers that come into the store.  You will help answer questions, as well as make sure that the store is clean, and running at 100%.    In the meantime, you will also ensure that you ring up the customer, when they want to process their order.  You will also help answer phones, and assist the manager.  Your average wage will be from $8 to $10 a hour.

Assistant Manager: You will help open up the shop, as well as close it.  You will receive stock, as well as make sure that the store is running at 100%.  You will answer to the main manager.  You will assist the manager, as well as help the associates with any jobs that they need help with.  The average wage is from $9+ a hour.

Security:  Due to the value of the material inside of the store, some locations may require the use of a security guard.  The security guard is going to sit by the door looking for any suspicious activity.  If any activity has been spotted or there is trouble, they will be responsible for calling in the local authorities to assist with the issues that arise.  The average wage starts at $9 per hour.

Store Manager:  The store manager will open and close the store, assign tasks to the employees in the store as well as make sure that everything is running according to plan.  You’ll report to corporate and do miscellaneous paperwork, conference calls and more.  Manager positions can start at $10 per hour.

Note: There are plenty of corporate jobs available too.  Keep in mind that these are mostly hourly jobs only.
