Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Associate: Working as a sales associate in the store, you will make sure that the customer is having a wonderful experience as they enter the store.  You will make sure that they are finding the shoes that they need, as well as helping the children measure their feet, as well as finding the shoes in the backroom.  You will also be required to ring them up at the customer, upon the completion of the transaction.  The average wage is around $8 to $10 a hour.

Inventory / Stock: Working in the backroom, you will help unload truck shipments, you will organize the shoes in the back, as well as price the shoes.  You will bring newer shoes to the front, as well as keep the backroom clean.  You will also assist the other team members, if they need help.  The average wage is $8 to $9 a hour.

Key Holder:  As a key holder, you’re going to be in charge of helping with opening and closing down the store.  You’re going to also assist with running the various managerial tasks when the main manager isn’t around.  This is going to include filing paperwork, assigning tasks as well as making sure that the store is running according to corporate policy.  The average wage can start at $9 per hour and go up from there.

Supervisor / Manager: Watching over a shift, you will be in charge of assigning tasks, making sure that the employees are doing their jobs, as well as helping with opening, and closing the store down.  You will report any issues to the main manager, or corporate.  Managers report that they start off around $10+ a hour depending upon the experience.
