History of Sheraton Hotels and Resorts

Back in 1937, Ernest Henderson and Robert Moore founded Sheraton hotels.   This hotel chain in particular was the first chain to be listed on the NYSE.   Today, they are one of the largest, as well as oldest hotel brands.   Their current headquarters are located in White Plains, New York.   Today, they have hundreds of locations worldwide with many brands under the Sheraton / Westin brand.

Job Description / Average Wage

Front Desk: You will greet guests, process their reservation, as well as make sure that they are getting the room that they booked.   You will also help guests that come into the chain that don’t have a reservation.   You will answer phones from other rooms, as well as provide them with any items that they need.   The average wage is $8 to $11 a hour.
