Job Description / Average Wage

Cashier: You will run the front of the store.  You will help ring up customers, answer questions, as well as assist people to their cars, if they have bigger purchases.  You will also find that you will do odds and end jobs in your downtime.  The average wage is $7 to $9 a hour.

Associate: You will help run the main floor.  You will stock shelves, clean your area, as well as help customers with their purchases.  You will also help with special orders, if they need something ordered online, etc.  The average wage for an associate based worker is $7 to $9 a hour.

Receiving / Stock: As an associate that works in the backroom, you’re going to be in charge of unloading all the trucks that come to the store.   You’re going to unbox them, price them, as well as make sure that they are placed in the appropriate place.    If any of the items are received damaged, you will assist with help sending them back to the manufacture.  The average wage for this position is $8 to $10 a hour.

Supervisor / Management: You will run your particular department, as well as help assist the main manager.  You will ensure that the company is running at 100%.  You will help assist with scheduling, as well as overriding transactions.    You will also be asked to help with opening and closing the store when needed.  You will report any issues to main management.  Experienced managers can start off at $11+  a hour.
