Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Associate: You will assist customers, help stock shelves, as well as work in the backroom.  You will help find colors, as well as sizes if they aren’t on the shelf.  From time to time, you also be asked to help at the cash registers as well and process returns.  This job is going to require you to basically be on your feet throughout most of the day. Your average wage will be from $8 to $10 a hour.

Cashier: You will work in the front of the store.  You will help run the register, ring up customers, take coupons and more.  You will also help with the floor, when the time is slower.   You will also assist with returns as well as help customers with any questions that they have.  The cashier’s average wage is around $8 to $10 a hour.

Assistant Manager: You’re going to help open the store, as well as close it.  You will assign tasks to employees, as well as help them with any jobs that they need help with.   You will answer questions, clean up the store, as well as run the sales register.  An assistant manager will be paid anywhere from $12 to $18 a hour.

Store Manager:  Running the whole store, you’re going to be responsible for making sure that the store is running according to the company policy.  You’re going to hire employees, fire them as well as assign tasks.  You’ll also help assist those employees that need help on the floor.  This position can pay anywhere from $14 to as much as $22 per hour.
