History of Raley’s

Raley’s Supermarkets was founded in 1935 and currently are headquartered in Sacramento, California.  Today, Raley’s has over 13,000 employees across 133 stores.  They are still currently a privately-held supermarket that primarily serves the Nevada, and California markets.

In 2009, Raley’s was noticed as one of the top 75 food retailers across the United States.  They continue to be one of the leading food retailers, and rake in over 13 billion dollars annually in revenue.

Job Descriptions / Average Wage

Grocery Clerk: You will be in charge of running the main grocery floor.  You’re going to help stock the shelves, clean the back room, as well as maintain it.  You will also clean up any messes on the floor, as well as assist customers with any questions they may have.  The average wage is from $8 to $16 a hour.
