Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is one of the concepts of a family owned , Pappas Restaurants, Inc., chain operates in more than 80 locations in Houston, Dallas, Cincinnati, Austin, San Antonio, Beaumont, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Albuquerque, and Phoenix.

The origins of the family-operated Pappas Restaurants date back several generations, beginning with H.D. Pappas, who emigrated from Greece in 1897 and opened restaurants in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Texas. Several business then were opened and Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is just one of them which was conceptualized in 1993.

Job Description/Wage Averages

Server: This person will serve guests quickly, efficiently, and must possess a knowledge of food and beverage menus. He/She has to offer superior customer service, and maintain station in a clean and orderly manner throughout shifts; effectively merchandizes food and beverage menus in an informative, friendly and enthusiastic manner; accurately takes guest orders; follows all safety and sanitation policies; correctly and precisely calculates each guest check; maintains a clean, neat, well-groomed appearance. He/She will also execute all Marketing promotions and special events. He/She expects to receive an annual salary ranging  $19k to $39k.

Kitchen Manager: The ktichen manager supervises the entire kitchen operation as well as the kitchen personnel. He/She will manage and direct activities in the kitchen to ensure high quality food services. He/She will also engage in hiring and training new kitchen staff; should ensure safe food handling and must see to it that the kitchen is clean and well organized. His annual income is in the average of $56k to $65k.

Bartender: This person takes the responsibilities in the bar area. He/She will serve food and alcoholic beverages to guests at the bar according to the restaurant standard procedures. He/She is to prepare alcoholic beverages for servers at the service bar window; greet the bar guests; provide menus and takes food and/or beverage orders; respond to questions and make beverage recommendations; prepare beverage orders for guest, set up, maintain, restock side work, and close bar and bar service window stations. The hourly rate is in the average of $7.

Manager: The manager takes charge of the overall operation of the restaurant. He/She supervises, plans and directs all the activities in every department and must ensure that the restaurant and the personnel adhere to the company standards and everyone is working for the satisfaction of the customers. He/She will also hire and train key employees and discharge them to appropriate positions. The expected annual salary he receives is between $42k to $46k.
