Job Description / Average Wage
Stock Clerk: You’re going to work on the main grocery floor. You’re going to work in the backroom, sort items, as well as bring them to the floor. You will also stock the shelves, insuring that you’re meeting company guidelines. You will make an average of $8 to $11 a hour.
Produce Clerk: You will work in the produce section of the grocery store. You will bring produce from the back, and bring it to the floor. You will stock the shelves, as well as make sure that the produce remains fresh. The average wage is $8 to $11 a hour.
Cashier: You will work the cash register assisting the customer with their purchase. You may also work the customer service desk, where you will process returns and more. You will help with coupons, and ensure that the customer is getting everything that need in their cart. The average pay is $8 to $10 a hour.
Bagger: As a bagger, you’re going to assist the cashier with all the items that he/she rings up. You’re going to interact with the customers, bag the groceries according to the company standard, as well as help with any other tasks such as helping with collecting carts, cleaning up areas and more. The average wage is anywhere from $7 to $11 a hour.
Customer Service: A customer service agent is going to help customers with items such as returns, as well as help them with any questions that they may have.
