Job Description / Average Wage

Customer Service: You will be responsible for helping customers, ringing them up at the cash register, as well as helping with stock.  You will make sure that the store is clean, as well as meeting store standards.    You’re going to also help with returns and more.   You will educate the customer about just about any tool in the store.  The average wage is $8 to $10 a hour.

Cashier: The cashier is going go help ring up customers.  You’re going to help customers with any problems that they may have.  You’re going to help with coupons, cash transactions, credit cards and more.  The average salary for a cashier is anywhere from $7 to $9 a hour.

Clerk: The clerk is going to work the main floor of the store.  You’re going to help with stock, as well as ensure that the store is running at 100%.  You’re going to price items, assist customers with questions, well as help with other associates around the store.  The average wage is anywhere from $7 to $10 a hour.

Head Cashier: You will either work a head cashier role, where you will look over other cashiers, or be a cashier yourself.  You will ring up customers, as well as process returns.  You will help customers with any issues that they may have.  The average pay is anywhere from $8 to $11 a hour.

Assistant Manager: Working under the main store manager, you will help assign tasks, open up the shop, as well as close the shop down.  You will also help the associates with any jobs that need to be done.  If any problems to arise, you will answer to the main store manager.  The average wage is anywhere from $15 to $22 a hour.
