History of Green Mill Restaurant and Bar

Green Mill is established to offer the menu and genuine service for the guests and this is to ensure that everyone gets the best restaurant experience possible. It has 28 locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Kansas, Green Mill has become a favorite restaurant in the communities we serve. Green Mill’s menu features legendary pizza and unique pastas as well as a wide selection of wings, entrees, burgers, sandwiches and appetizers and with bars that are bustling with great drink deals, sports viewing, games and relaxed conversation.

Job Description/ Wage Averages

Cashier:  This position works directly with the restaurant manager, servers, and guests in all sales transactions. Cashiers are also the in charge for screening and directing incoming phone calls, as well as handling to-go and pick-up food orders. Last but not least our cashiers help the servers in the processing of bills-of-sale and credit card transactions.  The average wage can start at around $8 per hour.

Food and Beverage Server: This position has the tasks to request or take orders from and serve food and beverages to guests; check on guest satisfaction and handle the payment and complaints/concerns of customers. He/She must have the knowledge of service techniques, food and beverage product and practices of responsible alcohol service.  The average wage can start at around $8 per hour.

Assistant Manager: This position works hand in hand with the restaurant general manager. He will help in providing exceptional food quality and guest service; help in the training and development of their staff.  He/She will focus on building sales, controlling costs, and learning all aspects of our business.  The average wage can start at around $11 per hour.

Prep Cook: This position will prepare/cook food for guests; make sure that all equipment, utensils and working areas are maintained for cleanliness; coordinate prep amounts with managers, follow recipe instructions, use checklists and prep sheets, ensure safe food handling guidelines.  The average wage can start at around $8 per hour.
