History of Exxon Mobil

Founded way back in 1870 as  Standard Oil, this company has made a few mergers since then.  As of today, they have merged to form as Exxon Mobile.  In the past, they have been known as Standard Oil.   Currently, they have their headquarters located in Irving, Texas.

Exxon today is known as one of the largest publicly traded company.   They employ well over 75,000 employees, and do more than 310 billion in revenue each and every year.

Job Description / Average Wage

Associate: You will be in charge of working in the gas station itself.  You will stock the shelves, make sure everything is clean, including the parking lot, as well as running the cash register, making sure the food / coffee is fresh, and more.    You will help assist customers with any questions or concerns that they may have.    If any problems arise, you will report them to the gas station owner, or the supervisor on schedule. The average pay is $7 to $9 a hour.

Shift Supervisor: You will overlook particular shifts.  Since some gas stations are opened 24 hours, you may be asked to overlook an entire shift for 8+ hours a day.  You will help with paperwork, as well as report to the main manager.  You will do most duties like the associate.  Your average pay will be between $7 to $10 a hour.

Maintenance: This position may entitle  you to working more than one position.  You’re going to be required to keep all the gas stations running at 100%.  You’re going to replace lights, fix gas pumps, as well as help with any other problems that the gas stations have.  You will also assist the district with various paperwork, problems and more.  The average wage is anywhere from $8 to $15 a hour.
